PreConstruction Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly bid calendar and ensure timely estimate completion
• Attend preconstruction meetings and job walks
• Prepare written report to staff of job walk synopsis and outcomes
• Coordination of project bid documents and distribution to subcontractors & suppliers
• Database input - adding subcontractors & suppliers to bid list
• Assist in the preparation of specific subcontractor & supplier bid lists
• Solicit potential subcontractor bidders via phone for interest & scope development
• Assist in quantity takeoff as required
• Receive and tabulate subcontractor & supplier proposals
• Analyze historical job costs for unit pricing extrapolation & database creation
• Assist with fabrication and 3D modeling drawings
• Administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to develop business with new and current clients
• Proficient basic computer skills - Microsoft Suite
• Knowledge of construction software programs - Bluebeam; Building Connected; Revit; Timberline
• Planning reading a plus
