Seals Construction provided construction management at-risk services for Hydrite Chemical Co.’s plant expansion. Hydrite, a Wisconsin-based chemical and agricultural support company, is one of the nation’s largest providers of chemicals and related services. The expansion to their Visalia facility included a new food ingredients room, raising the roof to allow for 6,000 and 12,000 gallon stainless steel tanks that make sodium citrate, installation of a new agitator, pumps for the mix and blend tanks, relocation of the motor control center gear, installation of two nitric tank footings, installation of a 1,242 square foot chiller pad and chiller water tank foundation with containment dike, and new lighting installation throughout the plant.
